What the guide shows
A week of listings for every live channel. The guide is fetched the first time the player signs in and quietly kept current after that.
Now, next and the rest of the week are all there, and a channel opens straight from its listing rather than from the long list.
Catch-up
On most channels you can scroll backwards in the guide and play a programme that has already aired, within the window that channel allows. The shows from back home that air overnight play back the next day.
Recording
TiviMate records a programme straight from the guide onto a USB stick or the storage inside the box.
When the times look wrong
The guide follows the device clock. If a game shows at the wrong hour, the device time zone or the player's guide offset is set to somewhere you are not.
- Set the device to your own Canadian time zone: Pacific, Mountain, Central, Eastern, Atlantic or Newfoundland.
- Leave the guide time shift in TiviMate or IBO Player at zero unless you want an offset on purpose.
- MAG and Formuler boxes take ca.pool.ntp.org as the time server.
